Due 04/15/16 HW/Wednesday 04/14 class Notice

Dear students,

Thank you very much for your hard work this week. I know that analyzing a poem is not easy when trying to analyze the impact of literary devices such as the figurative languages we learned and have applied on other pieces of literature. This is because poems are not often as clear with their main idea and a lot is left for us to try to figure out or interpret. kind of like a puzzle, and this is the reason why it's one of the finest literary genre.

I will be out on a PD(teacher's learning class) tomorrow 04/14. Please follow your classroom leaders instructions. Your goal is to grade another student's paper following the rubrics. Once you finish grading add your name to the bottom of the rubrics and a comment on how the student can improve in the future.

For homework Due 04/15/16:Write a 10 sentences paragraph explaining: What is the main idea of Elizabeth Bishop One Art and how does it relate to the last two readings we read?
